Hey,
Ozzy here. If you haven’t already heard, I finally found my
forever home on December 4th! I had been praying for a forever
home for several months, and had even told Santa that was all
I wanted for Christmas. The night I met my Mom and Dad and my
new brothers (Max and Watson) and sisters (Boo Kitty and
Mittens), everyone gathered around me to check me out. Nobody
growled or hissed or anything! I think I scared my big
brother, Max, when I started my “I want to play with you”
dance. He couldn’t figure out what the heck I was doing, and
he turned and ran to Dad! Mom says he’s just a big chicken,
but we’ve become fast friends! Max figured out the next
evening that I wanted to play chase, and off we went through
the back yard run, run, running! Even my older brother,
Watson, got in on the action until he got tired! My new Mom
and Dad tell me they love me all of the time, and are always
cuddling me and giving me hugs and kisses. Am I in heaven?
Since
I’ve been at my new house, I’ve learned how to play with toys
(I’m especially fond of Harry Hedgehog), and when I go outside
with my brothers in the mornings, I get a treat when I come
in! YUM! My housebreaking still needs a little work, but Mom
and Dad are really patient with me, so I’ll have that down in
no time! I get to sleep in Mom and Dad’s bed with them and my
brother Watson. It’s very cozy and warm—so much so that I
don’t want to get up in the mornings. Mom and Dad call me a
snoozehound.
There’s been lots of activity around my house
since I arrived. Mom tells me it’s because Christmas is coming
and we have to be ready for Santa. There are decorations
everywhere, presents under the tree, and at the top of the
tree, there’s an angel! I AM IN HEAVEN! Thanks to Oklahoma
Westie Rescue for saving me from my unfortunate beginnings,
and finding me a heavenly forever home! XOXOXO to all my
foster moms and dads too! Love, Ozzy and The Mack Menagerie
