Woof Woof –My name is Molly. I was just adopted on August 20th, 2005. Boy was I glad to find a final home – Theresa tells my mom that my sister, Angie, and I were passed around to 3 different places before I came to OK Westie Rescue. Even though we’re sisters, Angie and I don’t always get along, so she went to live with Cathy and Melvin. I went to visit them, but we still argued like sisters do and Theresa thought I would be happier as an only child (and I am!).

My new mom lives in St. Louis, MO, so she and my uncle came to get me from Springfield, MO, where they met up with Theresa – I really do miss my time with the Stewarts and all of their furry friends. Let me tell you, it was a long car ride with these strangers – I cried most of the way. But at the time I didn’t know how much love I was going to get! Sometimes my mom kisses me when I’m sleeping – and although I sigh heavy like I don’t want to bothered while sleeping, I feel pretty special.

I have a great new family – I’m the first granddog in the family so my grandparents dote all over me! My uncle’s pretty special too – he gives me a lot of attention and he said he’ll watch me if my mom has to go out of town (which is cool because he gives me lots of kisses too). I also have new furry friends – Bear, Maggie, and Pepper.

In return for my great new life, I try to keep my mom and our house safe from the neighborhood squirrels and random possums that come into the yard. And whenever strangers walk by on the sidewalk, I like to tell them that I’m in charge of the house so they’d better not try any funny business. I figure it’s the least I can do for my mom.Thank you Oklahoma Westie Rescue for taking care of me and giving me to my mom.
Licks, Molly

P.S. I even tolerate it when my mom dresses me up for the Elvis party, although I know I look goofy. All of the treats and loving makes up for these moments.
