Happy Endings - Frosty

I'm writing to give you an update on Frosty. He's is one of the sweetest Westies I've ever had the pleasure of calling mine. He was groomed yesterday and boy is he a beautiful Westie.

When we first got him, he couldn't jump on the couch and his back legs seemed to be very weak. Well....not any more....he has found that with a running start, he can make it to the leather easy chair and that's where I find him often taking his afternoon nap.

His potty training is going well. (It helps to have a doggie door) but he still wears his belt at night when he goes to bed. At about 4 AM this morning, Frosty got out of bed (of course he sleeps with Don, Sadie & I) and went out his doggie door and tried to pee with his belt on. Needless to say, they were soaked but when he came back in I cleaned him up and took his belt off and told him what a good boy he was. I think it's time for me to quit using his belt.

Frosty has lost some weight as he is being fed once a day and has the benefit of exercising in the yard chasing squirrels and chip monks (luckily he's still to slow to catch any).

We are truly enjoying having him with us and are very thankful we could be his forever parents. Thanks to all of you who made it possible.
