Yesterday was our one year anniversary with Daisy. We have had a great time with her this past year. She is a little clown and a very well behaved dog now. She's very affectionate but independent (not needy).

She still has a lot of energy and is always surprising us. We thought we accidentally threw away our digital cooking thermometer at Christmas. Last week I was looking out the window at the backyard and something shiny caught my eye. It looked like the thermometer. Sure enough it was right where Daisy lays down and chews whatever she can. She must have a stash somewhere because it had been three months since we had seen the thermometer. We still haven't found her food dish that disappeared on day one.

She still drinks her water with all four feet in the dish and loves the children's pool we got her.
