Meet Tilley. She is
a sweet little 3 year old girl, who came from a very bad
place. She was in a dirt pen and, at 12 pounds, was very tiny
and dirty when we got her. Her coat will get thicker and be
white as snow before you know it. She is getting stronger
every day and is coming in to her own Westie personality. She
LOVES humans and gets along with other dogs, as long as they
don’t attempt to take her toys or bed. She has never had these
things before and is not giving them up now that she’s got
them! Her favorite thing to do is to follow her foster Mom
around and be close. She likes to sit with her human and get
love and belly rubs, or even just sit under her human’s chair.
Tilley is well behaved and will soon be potty trained, but
came to us with a bad bladder infection. When that is cleared
up, we expect her to be potty trained quickly. She knows how
to use the doggie door and likes to run in and out with the
other dogs. She also does surprisingly well on the leash. If
you want a tiny, sweet companion, then Tilley is your girl!
Tilley is fostered in the Tulsa area.
NOTE: This dog is
being fostered in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME. You must complete and
submit an Adoption
Application and be approved to adopt prior to being able
to meet the dog. Oklahoma Westie
Rescue will only adopt to applicants who reside within
the following states: OK, AR, MO, KS and TX. If you live
outside these areas OR if you have children under the age of
10, please do not
apply for this dog.
Preference is given to homes with fenced yards. We do not
ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Oklahoma City, OK, or
Tulsa, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your
application is approved. The requested adoption donation for
this dog is $250. |
