My name is Koko. I am about 6 years old, but my foster Mom says I act like a puppy! I was sitting in an awful shelter with my girlfriend, Kiki, when this nice lady from Oklahoma Westie Rescue came and got us out. Even though I was dirty and bloody and smelly, she picked me and Kiki up and hugged us and put us in her car to go to the vet.
They gave me some medicine to make me start feeling better. Then someone else gave me a warm bath, looked at my wounds, clipped my claws that were sticking in my feet and gave me and Kiki a haircut. Wow! I never felt so good! From then on, life has been great! I still have to take some medicine twice a day, but the dogtor tells me that it won't be forever. I LOVE toys and playing with my foster brothers and sisters. I really love sleeping in the big bed, but I can also sleep in a crate if you want me to. I am about 95% potty trained. Every once in awhile I forget, but I am getting better every day. I have gained weight…I weigh 15 pounds now! I look pretty Buff, if I do say so myself.
I really love people and would love to be your best friend. I promise to be a good boy and make you proud!
Koko is a Cairn Terrier fostered in the Tulsa area.

being fostered in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME. You must complete and
submit an Adoption
Application and be approved to adopt prior to being able
to meet the dog. Oklahoma Westie
Rescue will only adopt to applicants who reside within
the following states: OK, AR, MO, KS and TX. If you live
outside these areas OR if you have children under the age of
10, please do not
apply for this dog.
Preference is given to homes with fenced yards. We do not
ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Oklahoma City, OK, or
Tulsa, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your
application is approved. The requested adoption donation for
this dog is $250. |
