Scrappy here! I got into a tangle with one of those big 4 legged things called an automobile.
I ended up unable to move at the side of the road. A really
nice lady stopped and picked me up and took me to the vet. OWR
then took me in and to a special dogtor and they had to put a
plate in my front leg. All of my other wounds have healed so I am ready to find my own family. Now, here is what I want: a nice warm bed, good cuddly people, to go for car rides, and to sit in someone’s lap whenever possible. That’s not too much to ask, is it? I also love to have my back scratched, I will growl and growl but it’s because I am trying to tell you how much I enjoy it. The vet thinks I am young, perhaps 2 years or younger. I have a beautiful coat and a lovely disposition. Please come and adopt me. I am waiting for you!
Scrappy prefers humans over other dogs, he doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs. He likes outside only if his humans are outside. Scrappy goes to the surgeon on June 15th for follow up x-rays to make sure that his leg is healing properly. He is working on his potty training, he loves to play fetch, and toys are a wonderful thing to him. Scrappy is fostered in the OKC area.

submit an Adoption
Application and be approved to adopt prior to being able
to meet the dog. Oklahoma Westie
Rescue will only adopt to applicants who reside within
the following states: OK, AR, MO, KS and TX. If you live
outside these areas OR if you have children under the age of
10, please do not
apply for this dog.
Preference is given to homes with fenced yards. We do not
ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Oklahoma City, OK, or
Tulsa, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your
application is approved. The requested adoption donation for
this dog is $250. |
