Meet Tink. Tink is a tiny Cairn Terrier born around June 29.
She was given to Oklahoma Westie Rescue as "excess inventory".
Not too long after we got her, her foster Mom noticed that one
of her eyes was smaller than the other one and it didn't seem
to be functional. She took her to the vet and she confirmed
that Tink was blind in her right eye. We then took her to the
doggie ophthalmologist, who determined that the blindness was
caused by trauma to the eye. He didn't believe that the eye
needed to be removed and also believed that it wouldn't impact
her life negatively. Tink plays and plays like a normal puppy.
She runs and runs and tries to play with her adult foster
sister. She is an extremely loving puppy and is awfully cute!
Tink would like a playmate, but would be OK if she got a lot
of human attention. Do you have the time and love to give this
wonderful little girl?
Tink is fostered in the Tulsa
area.
NOTE: This dog is
being fostered in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME. You must complete and
submit an Adoption
Application and be approved to adopt prior to being able
to meet the dog. Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt
to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR,
MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have
children under the age of 10, please do not
apply for this dog.
Preference is given to homes with fenced yards. We do not
ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma
City, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your
application is approved. The requested adoption donation is
$250. |
