My name is Baxter. I am just a
youngster, 10 to 12 months old, but I have had a lifetime of
experiences in such a short time. They tell me that I am a mix
of Westie and Maltese. Would that make me a Westese or a
Malstie? No matter what you call me, I am cute, cute, CUTE!
I'm not sure how it happened, but I found myself in a
shelter in Western OK. My family didn't look for me or come to
the shelter to claim me, so I sat in my cage week after week.
Then one day, someone told me that I was getting bailed out! A
nice lady came and sprung me and we went for a long car ride.
I was kind of scared, as I wasn't sure what was going to
happen. When I got to her home, there were lots of LWDs! I was
immediately comfortable and I knew I was going to be OK. I am
potty trained and I know the doggie door. I love to run and
run and run! I love other doggies, toys and the outdoors. I
need some help learning to walk on a leash, though. I would
like a home with a fenced yard and room to run and a doggie
friend to play with. Baxter Malone is fostered in Midwest
City.
NOTE: This dog is
being fostered in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME. You must complete and
submit an Adoption
Application and be approved to adopt prior to being able
to meet the dog. Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt
to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR,
MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have
children under the age of 10, please do not
apply for this dog.
Preference is given to homes with fenced yards. We do not
ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma
City, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your
application is approved. The requested adoption donation for
this dog is $250. |
